We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated English Co-Teacher to support the lead Teacher in delivering high-quality instruction. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, a passion for literature and composition, and the ability to work collaboratively in a classroom setting. The English Co-Teacher will assist in lesson planning, classroom management, and individualized student support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the lead Teacher to plan and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons.
• Assist in developing and implementing effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Support classroom management by helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students needing additional assistance.
• Assist in assessing and evaluating student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Offer constructive feedback to students to support their academic and personal development.
• Help prepare teaching materials, resources, and classroom displays.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.
• Communicate with students, parents, and guardians as needed to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and committees as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education, or a related field.
• Previous experience in teaching or a classroom setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of English language, literature, and composition.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school administration.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
