Today, I'm going to reveal you 10 looks influenced by British Style's spring-summer 2022 style trends. We'll initially take a look at the runway looks, and after that I'm going to recreate the pattern myself, using pieces that I already own. Let's jump on in! The first trend is all about the mini-skirt.
This appearance is inspired by the Miu Miu runway, where they combined an extremely short mini-skirt with a belt and a large cotton t-shirt. I took some aspects of the Miu Miu look and paired a puff-sleeve cotton shirt with a tan mini-skirt. I enjoy the blue and tan mix and how the belt completely matches the skirt.
For more fashion pointers for petite women, see my previous tutorial on how to dress to look high. On my feet, I have a pair of pointed-toe heels to pull the appearance together. The next trend is motorbike diaries, and it is everything about leather - whether that is a feminine or manly take on it.
I went for a pair of semi-flared denims. I love the juxtaposition of something a bit formal and edgy, like my leather jacket, with something extremely casual, like my jeans. The color of the jacket is so abundant and beautiful; it just produces a really sophisticated however edgy appearance at the exact same time.
My look, motivated by Missoni, quite channels that beachy, blue-and-white ambiance. Rather of acquiring something brand-new that I understand I will probably never use after this season, I went with my beach cover-up. If you have a long beach cover-up and some sort of tank top, you can very quickly put this appearance together.
The next trend is all about bright, lively, often even neon, colors to experiment with color stopping. There are rather a couple of color combinations that are appearing on the style scene. This catwalk appearance here is red, pink, and orange. I happened to have this lovely color-blocked dress in similar tones.
I also enjoy the dress's puff sleeves; they release a powerful, boss-lady edge. The next pattern is all about stripes, specifically non-traditional takes on stripes. I like the disorderly energy and boldness of matching stripes with numerous things. My outfit is motivated by the Paul Smith look here. Although I don't have a pajama-like striped two-piece set, I did opt for a striped gown.
I love the unforeseen pairing that these 2 pieces produce. This next trend is classic. It's all about white on white on white. You can play with various tones and tones of white. My outfit is inspired by this Cecilie Bahnsen look and I simply like the whimsical quirkiness and girliness of this appearance.
This is such a terrific method to design a corset without being too over the top. I have on a pair of really flowy linen trousers on the bottom. On my feet are black shoes, and I love how they tie in with my hair color. This next pattern is all about glossy things.
I love that on top of a quite simple sequined jumpsuit, you have this truly long, silky, almost scarf-like accessory connected throughout it. That isn't really wearable, so I used a smooth scarf around my neck as the icing on the cake of the attire. The next trend is also a bit tough to style.
To make this more wearable, I took a creative method inspired by this catwalk look. I like the net detail and the ball-looking decoration that develops a polka-dot result. Without showing every inch of my skin, I paired a pair of polka-dot pants with a large dotted top, and underneath I have a simple black bandeau.
The next trend is everything about early 2000s fashion. This catwalk appearance motivated me to wear my headscarf as a leading and pair it with some low-rise trousers. Wearing a headscarf as a top is not a brand-new technique in style, however I had never tried it before, and I really like the way it looks.
I enjoy the play with different shapes along with the juxtaposition of womanly and manly. This designer look gave me a brand new outfit idea. I would never ever have believed to match my yellow sweatshirt with my floral patterned skirt, as well as my yellow satiny shoes and my pink sports jacket on top of it.
I love how feminine and powerful this clothing makes me feel. Now you are all completed with the spring-summer trends for 2022; much like I recreated runway looks with my own pieces, why not have a go at doing the same? Let me know your favorite pattern in the remarks listed below.
