We provide open door to the resource rooms which consist of computers and Internet, telephones, and facsimile machine. Also, job candidates can go to on-site recruiting occasions, workshops on resumé writing, interviewing skills, and task search activities, or pursue more intensive training or certifications for professions that remain in demand. All 95 Tennessee counties are served by an American Job Center with competent staff and open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our Job Centers are grouped by areas called LWDAs (Local Workforce Development Areas).

Local Workforce Development Areas (LWDAs)
LWDAs are location clusters of counties whose labor market and other employment-related elements are similar. This indicates each location offers labor force development and career services based on regional needs. LWDAs are affiliate, or partners who assist run and administer programs and services as directed from the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) at all of the regional job centers throughout the state.
